Katrina Kaif has a better film to work with Alia Bhatt than Dil Chahta Hai

We all know Alia Bhatt is a Kareena Kapoor Khan fan. She was just ecstatic to do a film with her with Udta Punjab. But there is one other person whom the actress likes a lot these days and it is Katrina Kaif. Recently, when she was asked if she would like to work with Kaif, Alia had said, “I think we should make good chick flicks now. I would love to do a film with Katrina. If I have to pick another heroine to work with, it will be her.” She even gave us a hint of what kind of film they should act in. “I have been telling Farhan for the longest time to make a female version of Dil Chahta Hai. It would be exciting, don’t you think?” she asks excitedly. You are damn right! That would have been really great if Katrina had approved of it. Yes, you read right. Dil Chahta Hai is not what Kat would like to work in with Alia.

Now before you get any wrong ideas, let us clarify that Katrina isn’t averse to the idea. She just doesn’t like the logistics involved we guess because if Dil Chahta Hai gets a female version, they will need one more actress. Talking to a daily about Alia’s idea of doing a female Dil Chahta Hai, Katrina said, “That means that there will be one more person in it. I think a better film for Alia and me to do would be Thelma & Louise.” She even added, “The film has to be good. Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara was a film where three amazing actors, big stars came together and had no problem because the script was amazing. Tomorrow, if a similar film on girls comes up, I don’t think anyone will have a problem.”

Now that’s really incredible. An all women Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara will be nothing short of a trendsetter. It’s time to have a women centric on a lighter vein. Most of the time this genre gets serious and intense. Queen and Tanu Weds Manu series became vastly popular across demographics because they had lighter moments as well. After all, films are made to wrap information and awareness in the garb of entertainment so that the message is sent across.
Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt in such a film would be great too. But we wonder who would the third actress be in the film? How about Deepika Padukone? Your thoughts please!
