Battle of the Exes – Ranbir Kapoor chooses Katrina Kaif over Deepika Padukone

Though Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif broke up a while back and the two are all praise about each other. Ranbir Kapoor had, in fact, even said in an interview that he respects Katrina and that she was an important and motivational entity in his life after his parents. The two respect each other’s privacy and relationship which is why they are dealing with the breakup in a mature way. The actress even mentioned in an interview with Rajeev Masand that she is hurt but she has a job to do and cannot let her feelings get in the way. The two will be seen in Jagga Jasoos together and are even shooting for the same currently.
Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif have broken up but the actor seems to still harbour a soft spot for her. A source spills the beans, “Ranbir has been talking about Katrina a lot. In an interview earlier to a TV channel, he had spoken about how influential and motivational an influence she has been in his life. He has also been telling people that he finds her the most stylish woman he has ever met as she carries herself well and dresses simply yet stunningly. Now, on Neha Dhupia’s podcast when Ranbir was asked to choose between two of his exes, Deepika Padukone and Katrina as to who is more precious to him, he chose Katrina.” One wonders if Ranbir is having second thoughts about their break-up?

Kat and Ranbir will be next seen together in Jagga Jasoos, directed by Anurag Basu. One might doubt that things must be awkward on sets, but Ranbir cleared the air in a recent interview. “Working with Katrina is fun, she’s very passionate about her work. There’s no awkwardness, and I hope we can keep working together even in the future.” he told Rajeev Masand.
In this tell-all interview with Rajeev, Ranbir finally opened up about his personal life, right from talking about his break up with Katrina Kaif to hoping to find love again, though he doesn’t stick by his marriage plan which if you remember was initially fixed at the age of 28. But anyway, he remains hopeful stating, “Of course, the time frame changes coz I had said that I want to marry at 28 and have kids at 30. So that changes. But my ambitions and desires are the same you know. I want to get married, I want to have children and I will do it in the right way. I will meet a light minded person and fall madly, truly and deeply in love and just take it from there. Everything should be natural and organic.”
