Shah Rukh Khan calls his late-night meeting with Aamir Khan ‘personal’, says they haven’t spoken work for years

A lot is being said and written about Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan‘s
(so called) new found friendship. Industry insiders suggest that the
two are secretly collaborating for a project together. The selfie, their
meeting with Netflix CEO, SRK’s surprise visit to Aamir’s 52nd birthday bash are all being seen as signs of their merger. But, the Khans plead to differ. Earlier at a press conference, Aamir clarified
that their meetings are strictly personal and not at all professional.
Echoing the same sentiments, Shah Rukh, at a recent event, said “No. We
don’t talk work yaar. We haven’t spoke work for years. It’s just that he
has been in town, I have been in town. Last two three months he has
come home sometimes. But, no we haven’t talked work at all yaar. There’s
nothing work wise that we have discussed.”
When particularly asked about his surprise visit to Aamir’s birthday bash, the superstar replied, “Main toh gale hi milta hun sabse. Unka janmdin tha toh unko wish karne aur time spend karne chala gaya tha.”
Aamir and Shah Rukh have been in the industry for almost three decades now but they were never exactly referred to as ‘friends’. Nor did any of them ever try to put out that image. But their last few outings have really got people talking. People are finding it amusing to see both the Khans, who were said to be at logger heads with each other at one point of time, going out of their way to spend time with each other. I mean the two were seen chatting with each other in Aamir’s balcony on his birthday till the wee hours of morning. This had never happened before, well not atleast in the public eye. But, Shah Rukh insists that their relation has always been like this. He says, “We actually always met as often. You just have more media now who tells you that we are meeting.
