Humbug! Ankita Lokhande is NOT replacing Surbhi Jyoti on Star Plus’ show Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai
There's was rumour floating in the Industry that the makers are planning to replace Surbhi Jyoti with Ankita Lokhande
Star Plus’ show ‘Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai’, which started on 25th February 2017, is in news because of a rather strange reason. The show, as we all know, stars Surbhi Jyoti
and Shaoib Ibrahim in lead roles and is being liked for its stunning
visuals and interesting plot. Geetanjali (Surbhi) and Abhimanyu’s
(Shoaib) chemistry and Sharad Kelkar’s acting skills are being lauded by
the viewers.
However, there’s a rumour that is floating in the Industry that the makers are planning to replace Surbhi with Ankita Lokhande, who was last seen in Zee TV’s popular show Pavitra Rishta. Surbhi’s hectic schedule is being said to be the prime reason for this replacement. Apparently, the actress has been offered some big projects which have convinced her to bid good bye to Star Plus’ bi-weekly show.
With just six episodes of the show having been aired, the news came as a big shock. Also, the fact that ‘Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai’ is a finite series made the news of her wanting to quit the show even more unbelievable. Not very surprisingly, when a portal contacted Surbhi, she refused quitting the show. She said, “Its rubbish. I am very much a part of the show and am not quitting it.”
It seems Ankita’s desperate fans are at work these days. A few days ago the news of her making a comeback with Ekta Kapoor’s show Mangalsutra started doing the rounds but later it turned out to be a piece of someone’s imagination. In a statement to entertainment portal, Pinkvilla, Ankita said that the rumours were totally fake and she did not know from where they were coming from. The lady also assured fans saying that she will be back soon. So we guess her fans will have to wait for the final announcement.
