Badrinath Ki Dulhania will BEAT the lifetime collection of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania today

Badrinath Ki Dulhania is getting bigger and bigger everyday.

These days every actor is not only contesting with their peers at the box office game but with themselves as well. Say, for example, Aamir Khan. Every release of his goes a step ahead of his last release. Same for Salman Khan and now Varun Dhawan as well. The young lad has grown exponentially in terms of his box office earnings. His films are sure shot winners now. He is the most bankable actor in his generation and Badrinath Ki Dulhania’s success will only put him on a higher spot. By earning Rs. 73.66 crore, BKD is close to crossing the lifetime collection of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania which will be achieved by today. Alia and Varun’s last film had earned Rs. 76.81 crore.  
Taran Adarsh shared the numbers that BKD earned till now saying, “#BadrinathKiDulhania Fri 12.25 cr, Sat 14.75 cr, Sun 16.05 cr, Mon 12.08 cr, Tue 7.52 cr, Wed 5.95 cr, Thu 5.06 cr. Total: ₹ 73.66 cr.” Since it’s a weekend now, there will be spike in collections of the film and hence, BKD will manage to go past Humpty’s collection pretty easily. Hence, Varun will put his own film behind and earn some more. The innocent charm of this couple is the definite reason behind its success. There is something magical about Alia and Varun. Since Student Of The Year, they have been consistent in oozing just the right amount of chemistry onscreen which leaves audience glued to their seats. That has helped Badrinath Ki Dulhania as well.
If BKD continues to collect the way it is doing, it will become their highest grosser together. We are definitely rooting for it and are pretty confident, Alia-Varun’s sweet chemistry will propel the film further. What do you think?
