After giving so many fashion hits, here’s Kareena Kapoor Khan’s first big MISS – view HQ pics

Kareena Kapoor Khan, why such a let down this time?

You might say we’re expecting way too much, but  you either don’t set such high fashion standards or you live up to it and keep outdoing yourself with every appearance. Guess, that’s exactly what got messed up with Kareena Kapoor Khan’s latest appearance at the BBC Earth launch today. I mean, look at her – don’t you think the outfit that she’s wearing is unflattering and especially when you compare it to all her recent outings? Even if we forgive her stylist for choosing a dull grey colour, the fitting of this Nikhil Thampi gown and the overall look just doesn’t go with Kareena’s standards. To top it, the satin belt that’s same as the colour of her gown going around her waist further makes this attire look like a nightgown. Why did Kareena even pick this attire? That too for one of the biggest launch events like BBC Earth. Right from the dress to her centre-parted hairdo to the dark maroon lips, there is nothing that stands out in a good way here. Probably, the only thing that’s a wishful sight to our eyes from this whole ensemble is Bebo’s classy necklace, her smile and that beautiful glow on her face.

Forget a fashion critic, even a layman who has admired Kareena’s style and her classy fashion sense would know that Bebo has fallen flat with this one. In fact, what makes this appearance even more drab is that Kareena rarely goes wrong with her style statements. Be it before pregnancy, during maternity or then post the delivery of baby Taimur, Bebo has only upped her fashion game with every appearance. So when you’re used to seeing the good side, it becomes a little too disappointing to see Kareena step out wearing such an unimpressive outfit.
