Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ruhaan Kapur to be an actor too? Watch video

Shahid Kapoor is a proud brother. He dotes on Ishaan Khattar, who will debut with Majid Majidi’s Beyond The Clouds. He has often spoken about his little brother affectionately but what you may not be aware of is that the actor has another half brother named Ruhaan Kapur. And guess what? The lad too is gearing up for films. His father Pankaj Kapur revealed the same recently.
At an event for wife Supriya Pathak’s Carry on Kesar, Pankaj Kapur was asked if he is thinking of launching his other son Ruhaan in films. The actor said, “Mein kaun hota hu launch karne wala. Ajkal ke bachche khud hi khudko launch karte hain. Yes, he is planning to be an actor. His name is Ruhaan Kapur. And in course of time people will see him.” Check out the complete video here.

Guess we will have to wait to know about Shahid’s reaction to it all. Presently, he is damn proud about Ishaan and his debut film. Speaking to Mid-day, he had said, “I don’t think Ishaan could’ve asked for a better debut. Majidi is one of the best directors in the world, and I am really happy that Ishaan is working with him.” Shahid’s mother Neelima Azeem revealed that Ishaan got guidance from Shahid. During the mahurat shot of Beyond the Clouds, Neelima was asked if she gave any advice to her son, she said, “I don’t see the reason to interfere. While I have brought him up, he has imbibed the culture around him. He has wonderful people around him. I don’t believe in giving sermons or lectures. I am just grateful. It’s been a long journey. Ishaan has got great guidance from Shahid and today, he is strong and independent. We are all very proud of him.” We wonder if Shahid will extend the same to Ruhaan as well!
It seems Shahid and his siblings want to follow the family legacy as everyone from his family is an actor. Interesting!
