So the remixed version of Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast is out and honestly, it looks just drab. I am sure every ’90s kid would absolutely detest the idea of remixing old songs. Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast is an iconic number and considering that, comparisons are definitely going to be made between the original and the remade version. Talking about the new version of the song, titled Cheez Badi, it stars Kiara Advani and Mustafa. They are all set to star in Machine and Akshay Kumar himself was there at the launch of the song today. Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon had starred in the original version of the song and it was all the rage. Even today, it is considered as one of the most popular chartbusters ever made in Bollywood. Akki and Raveena shared a terrific chemistry in the song. The new version, Cheez Badi, is a put off right from the start. The new version certainly doesn’t do justice to the original version of the song.
Machine is reported to be a love story with a twist, which is the signature style of storytelling by the director duo who have delivered hits like Baazigar, Ajnabee, Race and Race 2. Actress Kiara Advani says she is excited about featuring in Machine as she will be seen in a “different light.” Kiara had made her Bollywood debut in 2014 with the drama, Fugly, and was later seen in M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story. The film is said to be the launchpad for Mustafa, the son of director Abbas Burmawalla of Abbas-Mustan duo fame.
