Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt
are super kicked about their upcoming film Badrinath Ki Dulhania. The
duo is seen together at various platforms promoting their film
extensively. This morning, Badri and his Dulhania shared a hilarious
video which shows that they just cannot contain their excitement now
that the film is only eight days away from releasing. Vaidehi and
Badrinath look really cute together and their chemistry is already a hit
among viewers. Alia and Varun have paired up for two films before-
Student of The Year and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and they are one of
the most loved couples onscreen.
For all those who have been wondering if Badrinath is a sequel to Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, filmmaker Shashank Khaitan confirmed recently that it’s not. He explained, “When I first wrote the story of Badrinath Ki Dulhania, I just had a story without a title. It was a pure heartland love story. Immediately after I narrated the script to Karan (Johar, producer), he told me there was nothing in common between this one and Humpty. The stories are connected by themes of love and wedding, but it’s not a sequel.” He further revealed that it was the name of the lead character Badrinath Bansal that Karan Johar loved and suggested him to weave a title around it and “That’s how the franchise was born.”

Considering that Alia and Varun are already a hit pair, expectations from the film are quite high. The trailer of the film, too, has garnered a positive response and the songs are already chartbusters. Let’s see how Badrinath Ki Dulhania scores at the ticket window. The film is slated to release on March 10.
