Varun Dhawan was so excited about the trailer launch of Badrinath Ki Dulhania that he asked the same question to Alia Bhatt, karan Johar and Shashank Khaitan.
Varun Dhawan was a bundle of energy at the trailer launch of Badrinath Ki Dulhania. He
was also looking quite the stud in his attire. The black bundi suited
him well and he seemed pretty pleased with the trailer. But tell you
what, before the launch, he called Karan Johar
55 times to know what how he should behave at the event. No we aren’t
imagining it. The filmmaker revealed this himself at the event and it
was really cute.
Karan Johar started saying, “Everything about Varun is wide, his excitement, his energy. He is wanting to burst out of his leather pants as we speak.” Alia Bhatt cracked up at the mention of that. KJo continued, “We are trying to reign him in.” Varun who was in splits all this while, joins in by saying, “Last night I called up Karan at around 12:30-1.” Karan interjects saying, “Yea, your 55th call.” We know it could be a slight exaggeration but the exchange between the mentor and his protege was so sweet we had to share it with you. So, moving on, Varun starts talking again and says, “I asked him what should I do tomorrow? Should I speak in Badri accent? and Karan was like ‘I beg you. Just behave like a movie star.” Karan then elaborates it further saying, “No, he then wanted to know what I was wearing.” And it turns out he asked that question to everyone around. It is really heartwarming to see the way Varun and Alia respect Karan because he gave them their first film and groomed them for Bollywood. No wonder Badrinath Ki Dulhania looks so damn interesting!
