Our ‘bro’ Priyanka Chopra couldn’t stop cutely laughing at her own jokes on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert – watch video
Priyanka Chopra says she becomes everybody's bro, and agrees she is more of a bro than Stephen Colbert is.
Priyanka Chopra has beaten many of Hollywood A-listers and TV stars when it comes to talk show appearances. She
has been on almost every talk show that I can think of. And not many
celebs in the west have done that. Like Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder
have never been on The Elllen Degeneres Show, to give one example. But
Priyanka…you name the talk show and she has been on it. Adding another
to the list is The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. And she did churn out
a few good quotes this time as well, but mostly it was her laughing at
her own jokes.
Looking gorgeous as ever in a black dress and sporting a slick new hairstyle, Priyanka made audience laugh out loud a lot of times. But she also did not forget to back her jokes up with her own laugh. We are not complaining. It was cute and endearing AF. But maybe just maybe, the audience did not enjoy her jokes as much as she herself did. Who cares? Priyanka rocks!
Priyanka talked about her mixed accents and said that people are very “confused” about her accent. She went on to showcase the Queens accent she used to have and tried to pronounce coffee as kuwa-ey-fee, and this was her reaction:
Then she pronounced sister as sis-tah and there she goes again:
Then Priyanka talked about how the success of La La Land will help Bollywood musicals get more recognised, and she chuckled again. You can see she wanted to laugh out loud but held herself back.
“I don’t think a lot of Indian actors like the term Bollywood. Because I think around the world, the word Bollywood has been reduced to like a Zumba class. It is. You stop someone, you ask, ‘Hey! Do you know what Bollywood is?’ They’re like, ‘Yeah, I just take a Bollywood class’. And, that’s all people say to me. I am so glad that ‘La La Land’ has done so well in America. Because now I think people will understand that musicals are not just random break out into song and dance.” she said.
Then she was bummed out about there being no place called ‘Bollywood’ but just Mumbai. And she chuckled again. Does it get any cuter than this?
Then she talked about how she has to be careful about what she says on TV. And laughed out even before she can finish the joke about Donald Trump.
After she is done chuckling, she finishes her joke about being on visa in US.
You get the gist right?
Here’s when she revealed Quantico makers asked her to say that show aired on Monday

“I am a bro though, I am bro. That’s the kind of relationship I have with most people.” Priyanka concluded her chat with Colbert. Priyanka are THE BRO.
