Koffee With Karan season 5: Kangana Ranaut puts Karan Johar in a tight spot while Saif Ali Khan looks on amused
Kangana Ranaut left no chance to put Karan Johar in a spot and Saif Ali Khan had great fun watching that!
The promo of Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan’s episode on Koffee With Karan season 5 was
extremely shocking. Our jaws dropped when we heard her call Karan Johar
flagbearer of nepotism and much more. We stood their frozen after
watching it. Since then we were dying to watch this explosive episode
and when we did, it didn’t leave us disappointed at all. Kangana it
seems was determined to make the filmmaker realise how he treated her
before. But to give him credit, he accepted he didn’t think much of her
before but now he can’t stop gushing about her. That’s why they say,
action speaks louder than words. Kangana charted her own course and
became successful too. But that’s not all that happened on the show.
Here’re the highlights.
Kangana was looking really pretty in a white dress and golden hair. Saif was dashing as ever in a suit. First Karan lavishes praise on Kangana who seemed to be liking it too. In fact, she even agreed that she wanted that speech to happen. She narrated an incident that happened in Aditya Chopra’s studio a year back when the filmmaker accepted that he made a mistake in gauging her talent. Karan accepted he too was part of that league. Kangana is glad that she could change everyone’s perception. Saif too seemed pretty amazed at Kangana’s stories. But she also dissed Karan for mocking her on his show and the director apologised for that if that has ever happened.
Kangana also answered to Alia Bhatt’s query on where does she go by wearing such brilliant outfits at the airport. The Rangoon actress said she didn’t want to say it as that’s a secret. She however showed how fond of Alia she is. Kangana even says that she is one actress she looks forward to watch on screen.
Conversations moved to Coffee Shots and we got some really cool revelations. Both Kangana and Saif owned up to a lot of activities that they did which will make you go HAWWW! Like when Saif admitted she would rather take what positions to try advice from the movies than from friends. Kangana agrees she did take a friend’s advice on that. Both have sex-ted, made out under the sky and many such things.
Then came the turn for Rapid Fire round and Kangana won the hamper thanks to her fiery answers. She even says to Karan that their idea of poverty is completely different and both Kangana and Saif had a heart laugh on that. She even said Karan gave her unnecessary attitude. That’s the moment she goes all ‘you are snooty and movie mafia’ on him. Saif’s reaction on this was priceless!
Once that was taken care of Shahid Kapoor joined them looking really handsome. They talk a bit about Rangoon. But here too she dissed Karan. The director asks Shahid how was it doing sensuous scenes with Kangana right after his marriage. He winked at Kangana while asking the question but Kangana wasn’t impressed. She even told him how frivolous he makes their work look and then people don’t take them seriously. Karan then tries to defend himself by saying he was talking about the sexiness of their pairing. Ahem…
Well all in all, it was a splendid episode but rather than Kangana, it is Saif’s expression which we paid more attention to. The guy was simply perplexed at the way the actress said whatever she thought she wanted to. We were amused too!
