The trailer starts off with its lead star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and
showcases the chronicles of life guards on a certain beach. The trailer
mainly showcases the discomfort of Rock’s character with that of Zac
Efron’s. But the one thing that stood out in the trailer was our desi
girl, Priyanka Chopra.
We know that in the one hundred and nineteen seconds of the trailer,
she was shown for exactly one second. But oh boy, that one second was
enough for Priyanka Chopra to own the trailer. Priyanka Chopra’s brief
appearance of one second stole the thunder from other actresses in the
trailer be it Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach or Ilfenesh Hadera.
Her eye popping (pun intended) outfit won us over the sexy swimsuits wore by her co-stars. In the trailer she is seen sporting a deep neck green top and a locket that begs to catch your gaze. Now if Priyanka Chopra can slay us all over with just a glimpse of her, just imagine what she can do when we’ll witness her in a full fledged role in the film. Yes! If Dwayne The Rock Johnson is playing the lead protagonist, it’s Priyanka Chopra’s deadly turn as antagonist that’ll balance the act in this reboot of the original, much loved TV series of the eighties.
