So when Anushka Sharma wears a gown that takes us back to the Lux ad of Katrina Kaif, donning the same red gown, we wonder who rocked it better. On a latest mag cover of GQ, Miss Sharma has been spotted channeling Katrina’s famous red gown. While we remember the ad very well for how Kat serenaded through the mansion, will Anushka leave a memorable mark with this? Having delivered two hits in one year, expectations from this skinny diva is quite high. I have to mention though, she may be a top gun in terms of her acting career but in case of fashion, the Sultan actress hasn’t really left a huge impact on us.
On the other hand, despite two duds at the box office this year, we’ve seen a very new avatar of Kat that we really like! From being totally safe to exploring new looks in terms of fashion, the Baar Baar Dekho actress has impressed us a lot. With the year coming to an, Kat has given us a lot to talk about in terms of her experimental adventures with fashion. However, that’s a pleasure Sharma hasn’t bestowed on us. Despite two releases and lot of promotional outings, we’ve not come across a single striking fashion pick of the actress. In fact, at a recent awards’ function also, while Deepika dominated the red carpet with her thigh high slit, Anushka failed to stand out.
Speaking of Deepika, it reminds us of Elle cover this month. Even the leggy actress has donned a red gown but has a totally different look and feel to it. While Anushka’s is a deliberate sexy, DP’s is more serene and subtle. Anyway, we’ll soon be getting the covers of this month so you can cast your votes on the same.
