Dear Zindagi inspires Samantha to enter Bollywood?
Samantha Ruth Prabhu can't stop gushing about Alia Bhatt's performance in Dear Zindagi.
Alia Bhatt’s Dear Zindagi
has not only won praise and applause from Bollywood but also from
actors across industries. Ever since this actor has watched the film,
she can’t stop gushing about it. She herself reigns down south in the
Tamil and Telugu industry but feels like a newcomer after watching Alia
Bhatt. We are talking about Samantha Ruth Prabhu!
While speaking to DNA, she said, ” I felt a newcomer after watching
her.” I suddenly see all of us must pull up our songs and work harder.
Alia has brought in so much freshness to the screen. She is an absolute
natural. I just want her to know that I will be watching her films
carefully in future.”
As for her entering Bollywood, she has kept away depsite being offered roles. ” I didn’t want to be sucked into the abyss. Bollywood is very addictive. And it slots you for life. I’ rather have my freedom to do what i want to, to play who i want.” But since she has loved Dear Zindagi so much, would it inspire her to join Bollywood? Would she finally make the plunge? We don’t know when that will happen but the actress sure feels that right now si the time for actors to take on various roles and experiment. She feels, now is the time to take on various characters.” ” No one comes to me with conventional roles. I think those are dying out.”
2016 has been splendid year for Samantha with 4 out 5 hits – Theri, 24, AAa, Janatha Garage. Each of the movies won her praise for her performances, apart from the films doing splendidly at the BO. And to think, she was considered a flop actress two years ago! On the personal front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is dating Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya who also happens to Nagarjuna’s son. The two have known each other ever since their first movie, but started dating recently. Both families have approved. They are set to get married next year.
