The Priyadarshni Academy is an NGO engaged in socio-cultural and education activities and has been holding the awards event since 1984. Several internally renowned celebrities are also honoured at this global awards event.
Katrina is going to honoured with the Smita Patil Memorial Award by the Priyadarshni Academy Global Award on September 19 in Mumbai. She is going to be awarded for being an outstanding individual who has shown excellence for her work in movies. The ceremony is sure going to be a glitzy affair! Also till date Kat haven’t received much awards, mostly we have seen her perform at award ceremonies, but this time will surely be special for the diva.
On work front, her last release Baar Baar Dekho tanked at the box office, though her abs and her SEXY toned BOD left everyone talking. Also Kala Chashma is a party anthem and her most popular song till date. Kat is now all set to reunite with her ex beau Salman Khan in Tiger Zinda Hai. The film will be directed by Sultan director Ali Abbas Zafar.
