Katrina Kaif who was last seen in Baar Baar Dekho opposite Sidharth Malhotra is back with a new project. No! It’s not a film. After celebs like Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif is working on her own fashion label, details of which are tightly under wraps.
Katrina’s recent business meetings in her hometown, London fueled speculation around a venture that she is soon to launch in India. Sources reveal that if all goes as planned, the Fitoor actress will soon announce this new initiative in her career that marks her entry into the retail space. We have always loved Katrina’s style. Right from the red lace belted Elie Saab evening gown that Ms Kaif wore at Cannes to her recent movie Baar Baar Dekho promotions where Katrina was seen in a causual chic look. The actress also pulled off the ethinic look with ease wearing saree along with a bindi and looked effortlessly glam.
A source told us, “Katrina has long been toying with the idea of venturing into the retail space . While not much is known at this stage, the project already shows massive potential as she has been discussing big tie ups with platforms to create something which reflects her personality. She is already in talks with some of the best in the business to launch a enterprise that will be groundbreaking. Katrina has personally been spending a lot of time on this deal and it is something she is extremely passionate about”.   
When contacted the star did not deny the development, says Katrina , “It is true I am planning a label. It’s too early to give any details right now. But I will make an announcement soon.”
Katrina has time and again emerged amongst the most popular and searched celeb in the country, making her one of the front-runners for most endorsement deals in the fashion and beauty space. No wonder then that the actress’ brand equity is on par top male stars and sports celebrities. After fashionistas like Sonam Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra in Bollywood we are eager for the launch of Katrina’s very own fashion label emering as a fashionista herself.
Katrina will be seen next in Ali Abbas Zafar’s next Tiger Zinda Hai opposite Salman Khan. The sequel of the 2012 blockbuster hit Ek Tha Tiger will release next Christmas.
