Varun Dhawan on Karan Johar vs MNS : If banning actors can stop terrorism, then they should do it- watch video!

Right now the most controversial topic is Karan Johar v/s MNS. MNS has demanded Johar to NOT release Ae Dil Hai Mushkil as the film has Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan. And right now the MNS workers are even protesting outside Karan’s house. Everyone in B-town have lashed out at the political party by saying that actors have always been a soft target. Varun Dhawan too joins in support of his mentor Karan. Last night the actor was asked about the ongoing controversy. He said, “I  will follow whatever the government of India says. The attacks on our Indian soldiers is horrible, my heart goes out for them. I totally stand with the government of India. And banning actors will stop terrorism then they should do it, but that’s something the government needs to decide first”.
Clearly Varun statement shows that he is deeply affected with the Uri attack and also feels that banning Pakistani actors is not a solution. Well  few publication misquoted the actor and he is extremely furious about it, he  ranted the media by following tweets, “ The media needs to concentrate more on what the government is doing instead of dragging sports and actor into this”.  “Guys my statement has been misrepresented. I feel arts and sports are always made a scapegoat. However Dhawan junior later deleted his tweets, wonder why?
While Karan is extremely disheartened and talking to a news channel he had said, ” I understand the anger and the anguish that surround us and I empathise, my heart bleeds for the lost lives. There is nothing that can justify this terrible feeling of terror. Then you are faced in a situation such as this (asking for ban on Pak artistes). If this was truly a solution, one would take it,” the director told a news channel. “But this is not a solution. I don’t believe it is. The larger forces have to come together and sort the situation and this cannot be banning talent or art,” explains the director.
The 44-year-old filmmaker said, “I feel vulnerable and scared while even saying this. I completely feel the pain and anger. If my film is targeted because of this, it will make me exceptionally sad because my intent was to put out a product out of love and nothing else,” When asked how he will deal with these threats, Johar said, “I don’t know… I beseech everyone to look at it holistically and understand the situation, that there is a larger situation here and it has nothing to do with banning talent. Let’s look at it from a larger perspective and find the answer.”
