Winter is coming and its time for us to turn to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for help and inspiration. Okay, now you may be wondering why since she hasn’t really aced a lot of style in the recent past. However, after seeing the song Bulleya of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil that was released sometime ago, I’m stumped. Now a lot of people also made sure to open YouTube and search for the song asap as there has been a lot of hype on the same. So much has been told about just how drop dead gorgeous Ash looks and the chemistry between her and Ranbir Kapoor in the song will easily make you forget the rest of the cast. In fact, her whole sexbomb avatar has been raved about.
You see, being a seductress isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. You need to be able to seize the show with your gazes or perhaps the way your body sways. Small actions do make a good impact, you see. Since it’s my copy and I’ve been bitten by the bug of honesty, I thought, perhaps I should be honest on how blah I found the song. Yes, we got glimpses of Ash’s sensual avatar but you know what else was more engaging than her sexiness? Her series of trenchcoats! Not once did the diva repeat her set of trenchcoats in the song and quickly reminded me that winter is, in fact, coming! Of course, her chemistry with Kapoor Jr was crackling but it sure didn’t catch my eye as I was too engrossed in her stylish ensembles.

Many a times in the recent past, Mrs Bachchan has been a bit of a disappointment on my style meter thanks to her meh outfits. There’s perhaps no real excitement to what I’ve seen her don. However, all that’s in the past now because glamour has struck this beauty and she is slayin’ it sexy with her trenchcoats! Now since the film is based in London, and with what we’ve learnt of how the climate is, her sporting so many of those coats isn’t really supposed to be an affair of bafflement. However, the way she has managed to pair an ensemble worth stealing is why she stands out like crazy! Sophistication, check. Panache, check. Makeup, check. Boots, check. Hot new avatar, hell yeah!
Although initially I didn’t get a clear glimpse of the very first trenchcoat we saw hugging her, the tease definitely made me look out for more! –

A short white dress with that long furred coat on the sleeves screams sexy! Ah yes, can’t forget the killer eye makeup, right? –

Two things I cannot keep my eyes off, those boots and coat! Black sure is a colour that likes to spice up Ash’s cool chick outfit! –

Did you notice she’s wearing bell bottoms with a faux furred trenchcoat? Ah the white hue is super refreshing! –

They’re both being cute in this scene but can you take your attention off the black zipper coat she’s wearing? Isn’t that rad AF? –

Okay, I know I’ve already spoken about this faux fur coat but look at her makeup here! Doesn’t she look dreamy? Definitely worth a second mention –

Finally, this embellished blue coat that’s as sexy as sexy can get! Not only does it ooze panache but also take away all the attention from the otherwise bland and boring tee. Whaddya think? –
