Quantico fans have a reason to celebrate. The FBI drama returns on Star World, September 26 at 9 pm. This
time around the plot thickens and the twists and turns are many. The
first season started with a bang but sort of fizzled out mid way. We
hope that the writers and makers have realised the drop in the ratings
and ensured the second season has enough material to keep us engaged. Priyanka Chopra
returns in the title role as Alex Parrish, but this time there are a
couple of new faces as well. Here are three things to expect from Quantico season 2.
Alex’s love life The rumours are true. Alex and Ryan’s romantic track gets really interesting this season. Ryan goes on one knee for the love of his life and Alex can’t believe it. But now with different organisations, will their romance last? According to creator Josh Safran, their relationship will see a major twist in the first episode itself. However, word is that a new love interest is definitely on the cards for Alex.
A new cast
A new premise and new characters, this season Alex will make friends in CIA to help her navigate the big bad world of espionage. The cast boasts of numerous new names, from two time Golden Globe Award winner Blair Underwood to South African actress Pearl Thusi. Actors Russell Tovey, Tracy Ifeachor, Telenovela star Aaron Diaz and Criminal Minds star David Lim will also be joining the show.
From FBI to CIA
At the end of season one, Alex is offered an enviable job to be a CIA agent. It’s a dream for her to get that offer but it also means she has to develop some new skill sets. The transition is going to be difficult, juggling her budding relationship and an aspiring career. The second season will showcase the difficulties that Alex faces when she makes this not so smooth move from the familiar terrain of FBI to CIA.
