EXCLUSIVE: Ram Charan Teja to play Suresh Raina in Sushant Singh Rajput’s MS Dhoni biopic!

The fact that it’s based on the life of India’s most successful cricket captain till date, Mahendra Singh Dhoni makes it more interesting. The cast consists of Sushant Singh Rajput, Anupam Kher, Disha Patani, Kiara Advani, Rajesh Sharma etc. Sushant Singh Rajput will be portraying the role of MS Dhoni, Anupam Kher as Paan Singh Dhoni, MS Dhoni’s father, Disha Patani as MS Dhoni’s ex-girlfriend and Kiara Advani as Sakshi Dhoni, MS Dhoni’s wife.
However, that’s not all, as the film is based on MS Dhoni’s life and cricket is an integral part of his life, we will get to see Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina as well.
A reliable source spilled the beans and EXCLUSIVELY revealed to BollywoodLife that Suresh Raina’s character will be portrayed by Telugu star Ram Charan Teja. Yes! The actor who debuted in Bollywood with the remake of Amitabh Bachchan starrer Zanjeer, opposite Priyanka Chopra will be seen again in a Hindi movie after the debacle of his debut vehicle. This time however he’ll be seen in a supporting character and it’ll be interesting to see how the makers are gonna showcase him as they are saving him as a surprise element for the film.
Thing to be noted here is when the shooting of the film was on there were several reports of Fawad Khan, Ram Charan Teja etc portraying the likes of Virat Kohli and Suresh Raina, respectively. But the news soon died down when the promotions and trailers of the film were launched.
But now it’s confirmed that Ram Charan Teja will indeed be seen in the movie. Also, BollywoodLife was the first to break and confirm the casting of Pakistani hottie Fawad Khan as Virat Kohli in the film.
