Ranveer Singh appears in a new look, which he possibly will be carrying in Padmavati.

The casting of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati has been a topic of discussion for quite some time now. It went through so many changes that everyone almost started to lose track. But for now we know, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor have been finalised to play the three key roles. If the casting goes through some last minute changes, it won’t be a surprise. Just two days back, Shahid Kapoor was spotted getting out of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s office. And we could not help but notice that he was carrying a brand new look. Yep! He was spotted with a handlebar moustache and a stubble. He is playing the role of King Ratansen of Chittor. After Shahid, today, Ranveer Singh might just have ousted his potential look from Padmavati.
Ranveer Singh is going to play the role of Alauddin Khilji, who is smitten by Padmavati, played by Deepika, and her beauty. Ranveer is busy promoting an award show and in the process, he took to their Snapchat and shot a message for fans. He is sporting a brand new style of beard and moustache, and fan clubs on social media platforms are going crazy. We also cannot look over the possibility of this indeed be being the new look for the period drama. Woohoo. He is looking good. 


Going by the popular legend about Padmavati, Kijli was a ruthless king. Ranveer with his acting chops will for sure be able to pull that off. It will be a treat to the eyes, if he is looking this good while playing the part. A few days back, Ranveer made one more pic of himself public. He is standing shirtless in that pic showing off his muscular torso, wearing a lungi, and with headphones to provide the contrast to his avatar. We are swooning over these glimpse of Ranveer’s looks from Padmavati. In the look leaked today, Ranveer has outgrown his beard.
Also, if you Google Khilji, a few paintings of the legendary king pop up on your screen. A few of them do actually match Ranveer’s look, which he is carrying right now. Maybe the research team of the film is using one of the old pictures as the reference. Damn! The wait till the official outing of the cast and looks is tough!
