Salman Khan SAVES Karan Johar from the wrath of Raj Thackeray’s MNS – here’s how!
Bhai comes to Karan's rescue!
Pakistani actors are being asked to go back and this time MNS is quite serious. The political party has threatened Pakistani actors like Fawad Khan,
Mahitra Khan and Mawra Hocane to go back to their country. Only a few
days ago, MNS had issued a diktat asking Pakistani actors to leave the
country in 48 hours in wake of the terrorist attack in Uri which killed
18 soldiers.
Yesterday, director Karan Johar tightened
security outside his Dharma office in Andheri West after he got threat
calls from MNS ( Since he has cast Fawad Khan, a Pakistani heartthrob in
his next film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil). Around 100 MNS workers were
arrested outside Karan Johar’s office yesterday afternoon. Karan was
asked to completely chop off Fawad’s role from the ADHM or else they wouldn’t allow Ae Dil Hai Mushkil to release in theatres.
The controversy regarding sending Pakistani artistes back to their
land is turning uglier with each passing day. Which is why Salman Khan
decided to come to Karan’s rescue. Now we all know Bhai wears his heart
on his sleeves. Salman, without giving it a second thought, extended his
hand to help Karan. A SpotBoye report states that the
Tubelight star called up MNS President Raj Thackeray yesterday and requested him to put an end to the matter and let
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and other films such as
Raees starring Shah Rukh Khan and Mahira Khan release.
Considering that Ranbir Kapoor is in the film, we thought Salman was
clearly not Team ADHM! In fact we even reported to you that Salman will
side with their competition Team Shivaay. But now that he is supporting
Karan and helping him with this MNS fiasco, is he trying to change
sides? Maybe or maybe not! What’s interesting is that Salman’s ex-flame
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, too, will be seen in
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
Also, Fawad and Salman are teaming up for a film very soon, which could
also probably be a reason why he is backing the release of
ADHM and other films that star Pakistani actors.
Though Salman and Karan haven’t been on very friendly terms, this was
indeed a sweet gesture. It all turned a little bitter when Sallu
decided to opt out of Karan’s film
Shuddhi that left the latter miffed.
