Salman Khan ATTACKED on Twitter for supporting Pakistani artists!
Salman Khan had said they were artists, not terrorists
And as expected tweets started pouring in, after superstar Salman Khan stood in support of Pakistani artists.
Earlier today, Salman Khan was present at the Being Human Jewelry
launch, during the Q and A session he was asked by one of the reporters
what are his thoughts on ban of Pakistani artistes in India, to which,
he said, “They were artists, not terrorists, these are two different
subjects. What you think? That artists are terrorists? They come with
valid visa, who provides them with visa? our Government, our govt
provides them work permit.” Social media trolls started bashing Salman
for his statement. Many called him a terrorist himself, other declared
him as a Dawood Ibrahim loyalist. There were even some who wanted to
send him to Pakistan, many urged everyone to boycott his movies. These
were just a few reactions to Salman Khan’s statement.
He was also asked about the Uri attacks and
India’s surgical attacks to which he said, “Ideal situation should’ve
been of peace but if this thing happened(Uri attacks) there has to be a
reaction to that action but in this day and age I think if we live with
love and peace it’ll be better for everyone, especially common man”.
When asked about if he thinks it was a proper action(India’s surgical
attacks) after what Pakistan did, Salman Khan said, “That’s what I am
saying, they were terrorists, they were terrorists right? So it was a
proper action.”

Last week after Uri attacks, MNS issued a directive towards all the Pakistani artistes to leave India within 48 hours. They also called for ban on them as well as the films they have starred in, which includes Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, which stars Fawad Khan in a supporting role and Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees, which stars Mahira Khan as the leading lady. Many celebs from Varun Dhawan, Sushant Singh Rajput, Saif Ali Khan have reacted on the same issue but they all played safe. Until, Salman Khan bared it all at this press conference. And this time around we cannot help but side with the star.
