Anupam Kher speaks on MNS controversies, saying India comes first!
Anupam Kher opined that he does not support the concept of boundaries for artistes but the current situation demands some stringency!
Today on the launch on new show release of Little Lord, Anupam Kher had a lot to say about the ban of Pakistani actor like Fawad Khan and Ali Zafar. Anupam Kher quoted, “Art and Culture should not have boundaries but actors should condemn terrorist activities. It was because of Subhash Chandra’s channel that they became popular. But, it’s important to speak about the massacre of soldiers. We have always shown our good side. I had once gone to Karachi. Some of them are very good people. But when it comes to my country I have to be biased to Indians. What will I tell the mother of a jawan, that there are no boundaries? I understand that Art and Vulture should not have boundaries. But journalists can’t go on national television and praise Pakistanis. It’s important to make them uncomfortable and realize that India comes first.”
When asked on the controversies revolving ADHM he added, “I have no personal problem with any actor. I think their films (which have been made) should be released. But these actors can at least come out and say sorry any condemn the terrorist activities.” He also spoke about his production Khwabon Ki Zameen Par.
Zee’s Zindagi is the premier channel in the country when it comes to airing shows from abroad. One of its latest offering, the Turkish show Fatmagul is also doing well on the channel. Stay tuned for more updates on BollywoodLife…
