Playing a psycho is no mean feat
The gorgeous Jennifer Winget wowed us as Kumud from Saraswatichandra. Her sizzling chemistry with Gautam Rode was the talk of the town. The lady is back with a new show, Beyhadh and its promos have made our wait more difficult. It will air on Sony TV and has Kushal Tandon as her co-star. The show will be a late night affair on the channel given the bold theme. The promo showed a scorching chemistry between Kushal and Jen, and the two look great together.We know that Jennifer plays an obsessive lover on the show. However, playing a psycho is not easy. It takes a lot of effort to look edgy and villainous at the same time. It takes a lot of time to can such scenes to perfection. And Jennifer being a perfectionist is not one for half measures. However, she had a funny incident lately. Jennifer has shared the making of one such scene on her social media account and it made us fall off our chairs. She captioned it as, “Wait and watch… Then its ok to laugh your hearts out! #bloopers# #Beyhadh.” The actress is giving the maniacal laugh that is a staple of all psycho characters but it is not easy to do that before a set of 100 people. The lady tries to get into the groove but a crew member imitating her laugh has her in splits.
Kushal Tandon also makes a comeback to TV after a long hiatus. The actor was loved in Ek Hazaaron Main Meri Behna Hai where his pairing with Nia Sharma was much appreciated. The Jamai Raja recently wished him the best for his new series, where he is in love with an obsessive woman. Beyhadh also stars Aneri Vajani. We know her as Nisha from the show, Nisha Aur Uske Cousins where she was adored for her pairing with Mishkat Verma and Taher Shabbir. She plays the role of a lawyer who loves Kushal in a pure and selfless way.
However, the talking point has been Jennifer Winget’s act as a obsessive woman. It is the first time the actress is attempting the role of a sociopath.
