The iconic song Tip Tip Barsa Paani featuring Raveen Tandon and Akshay Kumar is undoubtedly one of the most erotic romantic rain songs of Bollywood. Raveena’s sizzling chemistry with Akshay combined with the catchy music, makes it truly memorable. Raveena’s yellow saree and her dance moves are still remembered. We are sure all the 90s’ kids would have sung the song several times while playing antakshari. To cut the long story short, this song is nostalgia. It can take any one back to the 90s.
And thanks to Alia Bhatt and Karishma Tanna, this song has once again come into the limelight. Just a few days ago we saw Alia Bhatt dancing seductively on Tip tip barsa paani as a promotional stint for Akshay Kumar’s Rustom. She shared a 43- second video on twitter in which she was draped in a bright yellow sari, and was seen grooving to the 1990s song like no one’s watching. She had posted it with the caption: The madness that comes along with the excitement! Just #1DayforRustom @akshaykumar @Ileana_Official @eshagupta2811
In reply to this, Akshay wrote on his Twitter, “After this act you’re sure to get a mandatory rain song in every film Superb one Alia! #1DayToRustom.”
Now we have TV’s leggy lass Karishma Tanna dancing on the song. In the upcoming episode of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9 she will set the stage on fire by dancing on this sensuous number. Check out her Instagram post here –
And guess what ? Karishma will not be the only one to take us back to the 90s. There is a lot more to look forward to in the upcoming episode of Jhalak. The ‘Bollywood Special’ episode will have the god-of-Bollywood-dance Govinda as the judge in place of Karan Johar. We also hear that Surveen Chawla will achieve a full 30 score for her performance on Priyanka Chopra’s Itni Si Hasi.
We will also get to see Arjun Bijlani dance on Ranveer Singh’s lustful song Laal Ishq and Helly Shah swaying on Sridevi’s popular song Naino me sapna.
