BUSTED! Kamaal R Khan’s lie about Karan Johar paying him Rs 25 lacs to defame Shivaay!

This isn't the first time that KRK has claimed Karan Johar to have paid him Rs 25 Lakhs to praise a film! Here's a tour down the memory lane for you.

 

Didn’t it feel like deja vu when KRK said 25 lacs? Well, it’s time to expose him!

Last night was a big blow for the industry when Ajay Devgn released an audio clip of a phone recording where Kamaal R Khan stated that he was given Rs 25 lacs by Karan Johar to badmouth about Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Yes, it left us with a sleepless night as we brought to you all kinds of reports and spat that was shared between Devgn and Khan. The audio clip was a phone conversation between Shivaay’s producer Kumar Mangat and Kamaal R Khan. In the audio, we can clearly hear Khan state that he has been paid money to write bad about Shivaay and praise Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. However, here’s something that a lot of us failed to realise earlier.

Karan Johar and KRK have always been at loggerheads. In fact, during Bombay Velvet promotions, KRK even shared some scandalous tweets where it was stated that Karan offered him 25 lacs to give the Anurag Kashyap film a good review, 4 stars to be precise. He had tweeted screenshots of the messages which was apparently sent to him by KJo. It read, “Listen KRK! I shall fuck your life if you will give review of my film Bombay Velvet. Karan” However, soon, he shared another tweet with a screenshot stating, “Ok listen KRK let’s be friends. I will pay you Rs 25 Lakhs and you will give 4* to my film Bombay Velvet. Deal?” These two fiery tweets sent the industry in a tizzy. The reason why we are digging out old skeletons is to show that maybe KRK is lying!
Having stated the same amount that he had claimed a year ago during Bombay Velvet at the time of Shivaay – Ae Dil Hai Mushkil clash just proves that he is definitely falsely accusing KJo and did the same in the past! Well, it does have two sides. Whatever the case it, only Karan Johar can come out in the open and give answers to all the questions and accusations being shot at him. The news of KRK being bribed to praise Karan Johar’s Ae DIl Hai Mushkil starring Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan as opposed to bashing Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay broke out on 1st September. The clip was released by Ajay Devgn himself. He even issued an official statement that said –
“I have been a part of the Indian film industry for the past 25 years and have been associated with over 100 films. My father was a professional action director and I have an emotional connection with this industry. It therefore pains me to see that people like Kamaal R Khan are holding the film industry to ransom by spreading negativity about films to extort money from producers. It is very sad that people from our own industry are supporting such elements and spoiling the ethos of the film industry. I would strongly demand that this be thoroughly investigated by competent authorities to clarify if Karan Johar was indeed involved in this.”

Within a series of tweets, KRK even denied last night that he did not receive any money from him and in fact, just said it to shut the producer’s talks. However, suspiciously, he further claimed that Devgn had offered him money to badmouth Ae Dil! Shocking and surprising, isn’t it? For the same, KRK has even held a press conference today to answer all questions. We’ll have to wait for what he has to say until evening. But clearly, KRK seems quite a shady man! This Diwali, we better gear up for a war because things are gonna turn damn ugly!
