3 moments from Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil song Bulleya which will reminded you of Yash Chopra’s films

The makers of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil have already released the second song Bulleya from their upcoming movie and we can’t help but fall in love with it. This melody composed by Pritam is sung by Amit Mishra and the number is nothing like the movie’s title track. It is different in all aspects and to make us choose one between them will be a bit unfair. Just yesterday we spoke on how Karan Johar’s movies remind us of Yash Chopra. These are the two directors in our industry who can make their actresses look desirable and appealing on screen than anyone else. Be it Sridevi from Chandni or Aishwarya Rai from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, the divas have sizzled in their movies and take a note that none of them needed to have any skin show to make themselves look so ravishing.

Probably the fact that Karan admires Yash Chopra as a filmmaker is the reason why we see many similarities in the way he shoots his movies. We had a déjà vu feeling this morning while watching some of the scenes from Bulleya. Just while we were scratching our heads where have we seen the scenes before, we realized the song has many stills inspired from Yash Chopra’s previous movies like Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Veer Zaara. Not once, not twice but there are three times when the scenes look totally inspired from a Yash Chopra movie and the similarity is evident. Now when we say similarity, it does not mean the scenes are similar in all ways. They are surely inspired from the veteran director but Karan has added his own touch to it.

The scene where Anushka hugs Ranbir or when he drapes a saree on her are all inspired from Yash Chopra’s Veer Zaara. We bet you guys will observe the similarities if you watch the song closely and then compare the visuals in your mind. To make the matter a little easier for you, we have attached the images below to highlight the various similarities. Check them out and let us know if you agree with us or no.
