Hilarity ensued in my head as I read this piece of article. Now Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have been a couple for a long time. Time and again, they have had their differences but somehow have managed to reconcile every time. Of course, you cannot deny just how gorgeous they both look despite all the bad wishes cricket fans have for them. Oh don’t you know? There’s always an Anushka reference on Twitter, no, internet, every time Virat over performs or under performs! Yes. Sadly no matter how he plays, Anushka is always on the receiving end of his fans. Perhaps that’s why this specific school in Maharashtra wants their kids to know who she is? Or is it because the school holds some kind of hope that they might get married in the future that they want the kids to know who she is? Whatever may the case be, the school thought that perhaps Miss Sharma should be known, well, Virat’s girlfriend should be known to their kids and hence decided to ask the same in their exam paper!
We hear, last week, Chacha Nehru Hindi High School in Bhiwandi, asked their students to answer a rather odd but funny question. In their exam paper, there was a ‘fill in the blanks’ section where the question went as, “Virat Kohli’s girlfriend’s name is —-” That’s not the funny part, actually. They even gave the kids options to choose from! Uh huh, you heard that right. The options given were Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma and Priyanka Chopra. We’re not sure whom the school considers a celebrity of interest that the kids should know their personal life scenes. Both of them are big stars in their own field of profession and hence a question related to them had us wonder what on earth, what the school thinking.

Twitteati and people, basically, found this rather insensitive. Trollers gonna troll but here everybody was questioning the school’s methods and priorities. Of course, you’d initially find it funny but soon once the logic side of yours hits you, you’ll find this absurd. People judged the school and without a doubt, pointed fingers at the faculty and teachers to have added such a question, that too in their exam paper. We wouldn’t want to see them head for splitsville again as we just recuperated from that pain!
Currently Anushka Sharma is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil that also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Fawad Khan. She is also packed with Imtiaz Ali’s next, The Ring with Shah Rukh Khan. Their shooting recces have been all over Europe! Perhaps that’s why there’s a lot of time error between them to cope up with?
