Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt are coming together once again for the sequel of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. Titled Badrinath Ki Dulhania, the film is based in Uttar Pradesh and is about a UP boy Badrinath. While this is the second part of the Dulhania franchise, the film won’t be similar to the first. You will see a lot of interesting plot twists that you will absolutely love. While Varun and Alia had already shot for the film in Mumbai a couple of months back, the major portion of the shoot started last month after the duo arrived from America.Varun and Alia started the second schedule in Uttar Pradesh a few weeks back. They shot a few scenes over there, before making their way to Kota, Rajasthan. Here again, they shot for a couple of days and completed most of their important scenes. In fact, we EXCLSUIVELY told you how the duo are shooting for an intensely romantic song in Kota too. Now, Alia and Varun will head to Mumbai, where they will complete the shoot. Varun officially announced the second schedule’s end today, when he posted an image on his Instagram page. The caption read as, “It’s a wrap on the 2nd sched of #badrinathkidulhania. Shot all over Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. Such beautiful people and locations. Until next time #love #badree #comingsoon”
In the picture, we see Varun and Ali shooting for one crucial scene. Here Varun is driving a bike, while Alia resting her head on his shoulder. The actor is seen wearing a polo t shirt along with blue jeans, while the actress wear a yellow kurta pyjama. She is also seen wearing a kala chashma!
After the success of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Badrinath Ki Dulhania is a really exciting film and we can’t wait to watch it! The film is directed by Shashank Khaitan once again and we will see lots of love, romance, emotional scenes and fighting sequences in this film!
Recently, Varun caused some fan frenzy when he shot in Kota. A huge crowd of people had come to see the shott and when Varun stepped out, they went berserk. The actor did meet them after the shoot, but couldn’t wait for long cause the situation was getting out of hand. However, during this outing, we did spot Varun’s Badrinath tattoo on his hand.
We even heard that Varun drank whiskey to act drunk for a crucial emotional scene in the film with Alia Bhatt. The actor also accepted it and said that he wanted to perfect the shot. He did feel the effects of having the neat shots of alcohol, but he slept it off and shot for the other portions too!
