The so-called bra scene of Katrina Kaif in Baar Baar Dekho doesn’t even exist, clarifies director Nitya Mehra!

Looks like all the noise made for the no bra scene was for nothing, after all!

The joke surely is on us! Very recently a report of CBFC censoring a scene in Baar Baar Dekho with respect to Katrina Kaif‘s bra did the rounds. Of course, it instantly infuriated sensible folks who found it rather daft to edit a bra from the movie. Led by Pahlaj Nihalani, the board once again fell in the negative light of media as everybody was mighty pissed for the same reason. In fact, ex Bigg Boss 9 contestant, Priya Malik even posted a no bra selfie to show support to the filmmakers. Another scene with famous porn cartoon, Savita Bhabhi’s reference was also edited out, according to reports.

However, we now hear that there is no offensive bra scene that everyone is fighting for! “There is no scene in the film with Katrina wearing a bra so it can’t be cut. It is a clean film. It has got a UA certificate,” Mehra told reporters when asked about reports that the board had asked them to cut certain scenes. She said it’s a certificate board and not a censor board and there is no controversy as of now. Clearly, the joke is on us as the much anger built inside us towards the daftness of CBFC just went in vain! Even Sidharth Malhotra confirmed that there were no scenes chopped in the film and that the plotline is going just the way it was planned.
When reports of the bra scene getting a big NO from Censor Board started doing the rounds, Priya Malik was the first one to show support towards the film as she posted the no bra selfie. The ex Bigg Boss 9 contestant also revealed, “Yesterday was the day when a bra scene got banned from a film, a temple in Ujjain asked girls to not wear jeans to the temple and the Foreign Minister suggested women tourists to not wear skirts in India. Hello, 2016! Those who consider the sight of a woman’s bra offensive are the same ones who’d consider me going braless offensive too. That’s society for you. My body. My choice. Who put the boo in boobs?”

She does have a point! Currently Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra are gearing up for their upcoming release that will hit the theatres on 9th September. We see that they are promoting Baar Baar Dekho with the biggest strength of theirs, chemistry! You can see that while they are going to cities and doing the Kaala Chashma dance at various public spots, it’s their chemistry that stands out along with their good looks! From the trailer and pics, we can tell that BBD is one good looking film. Can’t wait for 9th September!
