Rock on 2: Shraddha Kapoor joins Farhan Akhtar’s band and we can’t wait for them to jam!

Ever since the news of Rock on 2, fans have been waiting eagerly…

Now as we know, going forward with Rock on 2,  Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal and Purab Kohli are still part of Magik, but there was in need of another member who would step into Luke Kenny’s shoes. A hard replacement, but nonetheless, one that had to be made. And they found their member. She’s sexy, talented and is the newest member in the band. Introducing Shraddha Kapoor aka Jiah Sharma – the new voice of the band! Here’s how the newest member is being described:

Welcome JIAH, a breath of fresh air in Magik & the new voice of the Band @ShraddhaKapoor #ReliveTheMagik #RockOn2. Well, we are excited! Because from the looks of the poster, she will be playing the keyboard and singing too! So we can expect a few duets form Shraddha and Farhan! In yet another honk’ em horns silhouette, against a splash of purple, we see a glimpse of JIAH, who is now part of Magik. She looks beautiful! She signs off saying – Ek Nayi Manzil, Kaie Naye Raaste ~ Jiah Sharma #ReliveTheMagik #RockOn2. well, that’s true indeed! So, how are you liking the new member of the band? isn’t she a total distraction!
Earlier this afternoon, we saw a glimpse of Farhan Akhtar’s character Adi who will be playing the Rhythm guitar and also be crooning! His profound lyrics will leave you thinking! So now, whose character will be out now?! We are already pumped!

At the Rock on 2 teaser launch, the band members got all wacky and goofy with some crazy props! In a recent interaction at the launch of Rock on 2 teaser, here’s what Farhan Akhtar had to say – “It was equally exciting and challenging to make a sequel. We wanted the best in every segment of the film be it in music, casting, or the location.
“Most importantly, we have a certain responsibility to the sequel and the people who have really kept the memories of the film alive so that while watching, the audience would feel that we have made the film with same sincerity and love.The biggest challenge is to live up to the audience’s expectation”
The film has been shot primarily in Shillong, Meghalaya since the story is largely about the North east conflict. The film, unlike the last will be directed by Shujaat Saudagar. It’s slated to release on November 11.
