Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt you have a fan in Sonakshi Sinha!

Sonakshi sinha has something special to say about Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt!

 

 

 A lot of Bollywood actors have taken up singing and are doing really well! Be it Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, Shraddha Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar or even Salman Khan – they are all singing in movies. With Akira, Sonakshi Sinha is the latest addition to the list! For all the latecomers, Sonakshi lent her voice for a song in Akira and now she will soon be having a musical concert of her own! A Mumbai Mirror report states that the actress is prepping up for a musical stage show and she is even working on a single now. That’s super cool! But with Alia, PeeCee and others taking up singing, she has a tough competition.

In an interview with Mirror, Sona was asked what she thinks of her contemporaries Priyanka and Alia. And guess what..? She was all praises for both these beauties, the actress said – “Priyanka sounds so husky when she sings and even Alia’s voice has a great texture. Her “Ikk kudi” (from Udta Punjab) is one of my favourite songs.” While there are reports every other day about catfights between actresses and how they don’t get along very well, with this statement, Sonakshi has just proved that’s definitely not in that bracket.
She further mentioned that she is craving for an opportunity to team up with Bollywood’s leading singers like Rekha Bhardwaj, Sona Mohapatra and Kanika Kapoor. Woah! Now with such a statement she just confirmed that she definitely wants to make a career in singing and is not doing it just for the heck of it. In fact in an exclusive interview with BollywoodLife, the Dabanng girl had revealed to us how she loves to sing and would want to make a career out of it some day. Well, it seems like that day isn’t too far! But will she be equally good as her contemporaries? Let’s wait and watch!

Sonakshi had marked her singing debut on IIFA stage a couple of years back. The actress’ had won over her fraternity who was in the audience and surprised them with this hidden talent. The actress then came up with a single and also featured in a Yo Yo Honey Singh.
On the work front, Sonakshi was last seen in AR Murgadoss’ Akira which did fairly well at the box office. The film showed her in a totally different light with her performing high-end action stunts. She will next be seen in Noor, Force 2 and Ittefaq remake which will also star Sidharth Malhotra.
