The actor has to give Ganpati celebrations a miss as he shooting for Tubelight in Manali

We all are aware that Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated at Salman Khan’s home ever year in  full glory and the actor simply adores this time. But this year, the scene was slightly different. We EXCLUSIVELY revealed to you that Salman will be giving Ganpati celebrations a miss, as he is busy shooting for his upcoming film Tubelight. Sad, we know, but things you have to do for your work commitments. Salman’s absence is not interfering with the festivity at the Khan residence. As we have the look at the Ganpati idol, that is being worshipped this year at his residence.

Salman’s designer Ashley Rebello took to Instagram to share a picture of the Ganpati idol at the Khan residence. He also expressed his despair of not being able to attend the festival. He captioned the image “#ganpati bapa at the khan house #faith#love #hope and missing ganpati this time cause in Manali with Salman”
Spending the festive time away from family is definitely tough. It takes away from you something that cannot be replaced. What else could bring a smile on your face like the festive ambience at home? Salman must be going through the same sadness. We know how much he loves celebrating this festival. We hope is back home in time for the visarjan, at least.

We told you EXCLUSIVELY that the crew and cast will shoot in Manali now, after postponing the shoot in Kashmir. A source had revealed to us, “The makers have delayed the schedule seeing the disturbances in the valley. Salman shooting there is not a great idea now with so many security concerns. They were supposed to be there by August 22 but now it is postponed to September when things get better, hopefully.”
Salman’s previous schedule of Tubelight took place in Ladakh. We were introduced to film’s lead actress Zhu Zhu there. On August 15 the first picture from Tubelight was released online by director Kabir Khan. The picture was taken in the valley and featured Salman in a army uniform, though only his back was visible.
Talking about the Ganpati festival, the celebrations are going on in full swing in B-town and Telly World. MANY celebs have shared pictures of Ganpati idols at their home on Instagram, and other social media websites. Sushant Singh Rajput looks vividly happy while buying a idol, as posted by him in a picture.
Manny celebs took to Twitter to wish fans on this joyous day,
