Deepika Padukone says xXx: Return of Xander Cage is exactly like any other Indian movie

While talking to Paper, Deepika Padukone describes her experience while working in xXx: Return of Xander Cage.

It won’t be wrong to say that Deepika Padukone is slaying it in the west much before the release of her Hollywood debut xXx: Return of Xander Cage. The actress has appeared on the cover of Paper magazine and is looking like a million bucks. We bet you won’t be able to stop gushing over her beautiful photo once you see the cover shot. In an interview with Paper, Deepika talks about her experience in Hollywood with xXx: Return of Xander Cage.
When asked to describe her experience working in her first Hollywood film, Deepika says “I have to admit that before I left India, I was very, very nervous about working in a new environment with a new setup and new people. And, yes, I think the first couple of days there, it did take me a while to get used to a new environment and people I had never worked with before. But I think within a couple of days I got extremely comfortable,”
While talking about importance of achieving success outside of India, Deepika says that ‘amazing creative experiences’ are more important for her than anything else. She further adds “When I came back home, I remember telling a lot of my friends that from an emotional point of view and from a storyline point of view, xXx is exactly like any other Indian movie I think other than the fact that this movie is going to be in English. I’m very certain that the whole of India is going to connect with this movie.” It was just the new environment and the opportunity of working with new talented people from across the globe that excited her, and not merely the Hollywood project.
xXx: Return of Xander Cage is an out and out action film, and third entry in the franchise. It marks the return, as the title suggests, Xander, played by Vin Diesel, to the series. Deepika is playing Serena Unger, love interest of Xander in the action packed film. Also starring in key roles are- Ruby Rose, Nina Dobrev, Samuel L. Jackson, Tony Jaa.
Earlier, Deepika was featured on list by Vanity Fair. The list celebrate the upcoming talents in Hollywood. Along with Deepika,  big names like Douglas Booth, Aldis Hodge, Ben Schetzer, Annabelle Wallis, Joe Alwyn, Riley Keough, Elizabeth Debicki and Keith Stanfield featured on the list. We see a Hollywood superstar in Deepika. Make us proud girl!
