Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat to go off air due to the low TRPs!

 

 

It seems to be a time for makeover for most channels. This is due to many daily shows faring badly on the TRP charts. As per a report in a leading daily, Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat might soon go off air. It seems the low TRPs is bothering the channel and the production house has been told to wind it up by mid-October. It was one of most lavish and liked historical shows on TV and made child actor Siddharth Nigam a household name across the country. Mohit Raina plays the grown up Ishita now.
While Siddharth’s acting abilities were much liked, the new generation has not impressed the viewers. Though it had the presence of a big actor in Mohit, the rankings into not improve at all. Now, the production team is trying to end the story as logically as possible. We don’t know which show will replace it.
Mohit Raina was joined by Soumya Seth and Kajol Srivastava on the show. As per the latest track, he is married to Devi (Kajal Srivastava) while he loved Kaurwaki (Soumya Seth). Many say the chemistry between Mohit and Soumya did not work at all. Now, we will see Ashoka avenging the death of his mother, Dharma (Pallavi Subhash). In fact, Pallavi was hugely loved for her sincere portrayal of the loving and idealistic Dharma. Actors Sameer Dharmadhikari, Suzanne Bernert, Manoj Joshi were also appreciated for their roles.

Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat is now being aired on Indonesia on ANTV. The show has got a good response. Siddharth has developed a good fan base and people want him to visit the country.
