After being ousted, Surveen Chawla offered to re-enter Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 9 as a SURPRISE element!

We have exclusively found out that Surveen Chawla was asked to return to Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 9's sets as a surprise contestant after being ousted. Here's how she reacted to their proposal!

 

 

 

 

While Jhalak Dikhla Jaa surely makes every viewer excited because of the amount of energy and hardwork, celebs put to ace the trophy, you gotta admit that the surprises in the show always leave us baffled. In fact, it’s no less a soap as one minute your favourite contestant is present on stage, burning the dance floor and next minute they are on the bottom scores list. Some of them even get eliminated despite the great response they receive. One such contestant of Jhalak’s season 9 is Surveen Chawla. So far the episode where she is ousted hasn’t been aired yet, but we have already told you what the scene is.In fact, her elimination has left everyone upset as well. Perhaps that’s why she was offered to re-enter?
We have EXCLUSIVELY found out that after being eliminated unexpectedly, the actress was once again told to re-enter the show as a surprise contestant. A source close to the show told us that three days after she got eliminated, the producers from the show called up the actress and asked her to re-enter the show as a surprise element. However, she declined the offer and had a ‘no thanks’ kinda response to it. We had exclusively told you earlier how judge Karan Johar was upset over her elimination on the show. “His initial reaction was one of shock,” said a source from the set. “Everyone likes Nora but even the others felt that Surveen was better on the given day. And she fits the bill of a non-dancer becoming a dancer unlike Nora who was a professional belly-dancer. So, they were sad for Surveen,” the source continued.


Clearly, she is in no mood to go back to the show, courtesy being ousted while she was doing a phenomenal streak of performances. Currently, all of Surveen’s attention is focussed on her upcoming film, Parched that is directed by Leena Yadav and also stars Radhika Apte, Tannishta Chatterjee, Lehar Khan and Adil Hussain in pivotal roles. We’ve seen Surveen shine in so many shows such as 24, Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena and even movies like Hate Story, Ugly and many regional films. After having met her personally, I can vouch for just how sporting and sweet this person is.

Although fans weren’t really that thrilled to see her as Maya in 24’s season 2, she sure has received rave reviews for her film Parched! So she bagged the role of Maya in 24 season 2 but her fans were unhappy as there was very little acting to do for her in the show and fans had more expectations from her. In the season, she played the role of Haroon Sherchand’s (Sikander Kher) girlfriend on the finite thriller series. While her TV series streak might not be that thrilling, her movies sure work wonders. Earlier in Hate Story 2, she created a rage! And now with Parched making its way to Indian cinema as it releases on 23rd September i..e this Friday, we’re more than excited! She plays a sensual dancer cum a sex worker.
