Abhishek Bachchan is one guy who has the most amazing sense of humour and going by the rate he gets trolled on Twitter, he needs that to cope up with it. Recently, a stand-up comedian Aditi Mittal poked fun at AB Jr’s acting skills. While this is not new for the Guru actor, what’s new was the fact that it came from a long lost piece of news. Remember the time when there was news of Aishwarya Rai marrying a tree on before she tied the knot with Abhishek? Yes the very same news returned to haunt at a time when Amitabh Bachchan had just posted an open letter for his granddaughters Navya Naveli Nanda and Aaradhya Bachchan.
A comedian taunted AB Sr’s letter with that rumour,”If Amitabh Bacchan is milking having grand children to sell his film what hope is there for the general public?” a Twitter user replied,”also didn’t this man now writing feminist letters to grand kids once make daughter in law to be marry a tree?” The comedian replied to that tweet, “Aishwarya had to m marrying a tree first so she could marry a rock (mince Abishek can’t act no?)”. Abhishek, like a rockstar he is, responded, “the question mark at the end suggests that you have a doubt, mince, there is hope for me. Yay!”
He further added about the tree in question, “and just for the record… We are still looking for this alleged tree.” Squashing all the rumours about Aishwarya made to marry a tree.
When the comedian further prodded about the story being reported in a daily, Abhishek quickly responded sarcastically,”and the outcome of the case? Oh forgot… Whatever is printed is always the truth.”
No points for guessing the comedian was in awe of Jr Bachchan.
On the work front, after the success of Housefull 3, Abhishek Bachchan has taken a break and is looking forward to revive his solo movie career. If reports are to be believed, he’ll be next seen in a Prabhu Dheva directorial and unlike his last few release, it won’t be a multistarrer.
