Angelina Jolie, 41, filed for divorce from Brad Pitt, 52, on Sept. 19, and it allegedly stemmed from a major fight they had earlier in the month. The actor was in Croatia alone at the beginning of September, where he acted like a “carefree, single man on vacation,” according to InTouch — and his wife was not happy about it.
“Brad’s leaving for the Adriatic coast prompted a fight with his wife that has sealed the fate of their marriage,” an insider told the mag. Apparently, the actress wanted Brad to spend the end of summer with her and the kids at their estate in France, but he opted to head out on his own instead.
“As Brad headed out the door, Angelina was in tears, truly feeling she’d lost Brad once and for all,” InTouch claims. “The marriage is broken and Brad and Angelina’s $400 million divorce is underway.”
The 41-year-old reportedly blew up at Brad for always acting like a single man, which allegedly stemmed from an earlier report that he was flirting with Marion Cotillard on the set of their movie Allied. Now, it’s being reported by Page Six that Angelina grew suspicious of her husband’s behavior on-set, and hired a private eye to investigate. “It turns out, he was [fooling around],” the paper’s source claims. Brad and Angelina met on the set of Mr & Mrs Smith in 2004, but he was still married to Jennifer Aniston at the time. They went public with their romance just one month after Jen filed for divorce, and he adopted her two kids, Maddox and Zahara. Throughout their 12-year relationship they welcomed three kids of their own and adopted one more, then got married on Aug. 23, 2014. We can’t believe it’s really over!
