and Varun Dhawan’s Tamma Tamma Again from Badrinath Ki Dulhania is all
about paying a tribute to the 90’s hit featuring Madhuri Dixit and
Sanjay Dutt? Well, that of course was the
main idea behind it but then there’s also this another surprising
element- the now viral, mannequin challenge which further takes the song
to an all new level. Yes! Thanks to ace choreographer Bosco, Alia and
Varun have pulled off a brilliant mannequin challenge right in the
middle of the track and boy, you will be blown away by their pumped up
energy. I mean, no seriously! We have seen so many mannequin challenges
in the past but nothing in comparison to this. Every little move has
been so well timed, so beautifully shot…Kudos to the team for recreating
Tamma Tamma Again with this baller of a mannequin challenge which
perhaps gets a perfect blend of the 90s and the internet age.
We wonder if the idea of having a mannequin challenge in Tamma Tamma Again came from Varun’s side for if you remember, he was one of the few Bollywood celebs who had released his very own mannequin challenge when it was introduced for the first time. Remember the one with the bunch of kids? Dunno about you but we’re totally crushing on Varun and Alia’s electrifying attempt at the mannequin challenge.

All said and done, Tamma Tamma Again on an overall basis will give you a major throwback to the 90s considering it’s retained the same voices from the original and also the hook step. But having said that, it would be wrong to compare Varun-Alia to Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt from the original for this remake was never intended to outdo the original but to simply pay an special ode to the all time chartbuster.
