Farhan Azmi defends father Abu Azmi’s Bangalore molestation comment, compares actresses to prostitutes!
As if Abu Azmi's comments on the recent Bangalore Molestation Case was not enough, we now have his son Farhan Azmi slut shaming Bollywood actresses.

Molestation Case was not enough, we now have his son Farhan Azmi
attacking Bollywood actresses. Yes, Azmi’s son better known as actress
Ayesha Takia’s husband trolled Esha Gupta for her comments against his
father. Now only those living under the
rock would be unfamiliar with Azmi Sr’s statement. After the horrendous
episode on New Years in Bangalore the Samajwadi Party leader in a
statement to the press said, “In these modern times, the more skin women
show, the more they are considered fashionable. If my sister or
daughter stays out beyond sunset celebrating December 31 with a man who
isn’t their husband or brother, that’s not right.If there’s gasoline,
there will be fire. If there’s spilt sugar, ants will gravitate towards
it for sure.”
This wasn’t the first time that Abu Azmi had made a sexist remark like many of our political leaders. He is known to have a foot-in-mouth disorder. But we were shocked with Farhan’s reaction, especially considering that his wife Ayesha Takia too is a film actress. While Farhan was sorry about his father’s regressive statement and even assured to feed some sense to his father, he literally proved that he’s no better when he tried to compare heroines to prostitutes. That’s not all Farhan even went ahead to retweet some nasty trolls who were literally character assassinating Esha on social media.

Esha Gupta reacted to Abu Azmi’s statement on Bangalore molestation and wrote on her Twitter…
Abu Azmi went on a Twitter rant after that and this is what he did on his timeline…
He went on to retweet some real derogatory statements made by some follower.
Of course Azmi who seemed to meekly defend his father for reckless words he used. And had a an almost safe response when someone asked him to educate his father on women safety and molestation offenses.
Farhan not only slut shamed Esha Gupta but also took potshots at Malaika Arora Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s item songs in one of his Twitter posts. It was appalling that Farhan was so offended coz of a comment made about his father, however did not seem as upset when his father literally blamed the victims of molestation for the unfortunate incident in Bangalore on the New Year.
Strangely Farhan shared Akshay Kumar’s Facebook post that condemned the Bangalore incident and reprimanded the likes of Abu Azmi. Farhan even went on to bash Farhan Akhtar who protested against Abu Azmi’s comments.
Mr Farhan Azmi we suggest you make up your mind about what you think is right and what’s wrong. And if you stand by your father’s comments or then feel that like him you too have made some shocking statements that make us question women’s safety in the country today.
