It feels like The Ellen DeGeneres Show has suddenly got all the more famous in India thanks to our desi girls, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra. I mean, not that Ellen was any less famous before, that she needed DP and PC to make it big in her life. Ellen is already a superstar and actors die to meet and there’s no denying to that. But considering Deepika and Priyanka both got lucky to appear on The Ellen Show, despite being the newest additions in Hollywood gotta be a big deal. Especially, Deepika who just has one film – xXx: Return Of Xander Cage to her credit as of now; unlike PC who’s already ruling the roost with ABC Studio’s hit franchise Quantico and of course, her upcoming film Baywatch. In fact, that also explains why Priyanka got to appear first on The Ellen Show(back in October last year) much before Deepika who only made her first ever international talk show debut with Ellen last night. So that gets us back to our first question – whose ‘debut with Ellen’ did you like more? 
Considering Deepika’s was the most recent episode and also her first, let’s begin with her performance. Looking like a vision in white, DP seemed all calm and composed throughout the episode. She didn’t look a bit nervous about her debut; rather she tried to be as real as possible by taking on every question right from her struggling days to what it feels like being in Hollywood. However, the highlight of the episode had to be when Deepika gushed about her link-up with Vin Diesel. Without really denying her love for Vin, she instead decided to play along saying, “There is no smoke without fire. I mean in my head I think, like yeah, we are together and we have this amazing chemistry, and we live together and we have these amazing babies! But it’s all in my head,” Ahem! Interesting, eh?
Talking about Priyanka, no doubt her stint with Ellen DeGeneres too was a lotta fun. We’d never imagined tequila shots with Priyanka would have been so crazy with the actress shelling out major revelations about her personal and professional life. But having said that, what was more appreciable was the fact how despite Ellen’s sly attempts to pull down Priyanka, the actress made sure to not lose her calm and gave it back to the host with much poise and confidence. Not to mention, many of PC’s fans too had slammed Ellen for being rude and taking PC for granted, especially when Ellen passed a remark about she being cast  saying, “People were so excited ’cause you are such a huge star and you are beautiful and you can act. That…doesn’t happen often. But I am just complimenting you because I should.”
All in all, both Priyanka and Deepika made sure they conducted themselves with much dignity and charm on an international platform like The Ellen DeGeneres Show. But then who was the best?
