Arshad Warsi and Sajid Khan were background dancers in this Jeetendra-Anil Kapoor starrer – watch video!

Many are aware of the fact that before making it big as an actor, Arshad Warsi was a choreographer but not many know that he was a background dancer to Jeetendra in this 1989 action film. The song in question is Help Me from Aag Se Khelenge and featured Jeetendra and Kimi Katkar. In fact, not just Arshad Warsi, the song also featured director/host Sajid Khan, choreographer Longinus Fernandes and DJ Akbar Sami. The weirdly lyrical song (it’s hard to believe it was written by Anand Bakshi and music was composed by RD Burman) had Jeetendra looking for Kimi Katkar and as Jeetendra is getting closer to her, she calls her “four knights” namely Arshad Warsi, Sajid Khan, Longinus Fernandes and Akbar Sami. The song is trippy and the choreography is..well…funny. Also its hard to recognise Arshad Warsi and Sajid Khan. While we were aware of Arshad’s dancing prowess, it was Sajid Khan who surprised us with his moves. Well, his sister Farah Khan is an ace Bollywood choreographer so that explains his dancing skills. Sajid Khan, when joined Twitter, had shared the video with his followers and had explained about it. He had captioned it, “hahahaha..arshad warsi,dj akbar sami, choreographer longi and ME!!! All 4 playing kimi’s dancers!1989..400rs a day…”
Check out the tweet as well as the video below:

All these dancers in the video are now pursuing different careers. While Arshad Warsi is a well known actor, Sajid Khan has made his name as a director, Akbar Sami is a known DJ and Longinus Fernandes is an award winning choreographer. Apart from Jeetendra and Kimi Katkar, the film also starred Anil Kapoor and Meenakshi Sheshadri.
