Sonakshi Sinha: Industry girls are doing really good in kicking some major butts

Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha feels that Bollywood actresses are giving really tough competition to the actors currently in terms of action. The actress feels that her contemporaries have already started doing some serious action. “I believe we have started doing that. Even in the industry, girls are doing really good in kicking some major butts. So I hope to carry on to that direction and continue to rise higher and higher,” she said at the launch of India’s First Virtual Reality Hepatic Gaming Experience on Friday.
The Akira actress thinks that as Hollywood films are doing good business in India, Indian films need more good scripts to remain in that competition. “We need to start making a lot of good contents that people would love to watch. We have a huge audience. The way things are going it shows they are opening up and want to watch new things on the screen…,” she said. “It’s a great time to be a girl in the industry because there are such wonderful roles being written for us,” Sonakshi told IANS over phone when asked how she feels about filmmakers concentrating on women-centric roles in Bollywood.

We recently saw her kickstart Lakme Fashion Week 2017 for Monisha Jaisingh as she donned a lovely tangerine hued gown. It was not some regular ramp walk, but rather the ramp was a cruise ship. Yep. The fashion show took place on international luxury cruise liner – Costa. Sonakshi looked unimaginably beautiful while walking down the gallery of the ship, in a tangerine gown. As the breeze hit her hair and trail of her gown, the site become even more beautiful.
Sonakshi is currently filming Sunhil Sippy’s comedy “Noor” based on Saba Imtiaz’s novel Karachi, You’re Killing Me!. The film also stars Kanan Gill, Shibani Dandekar and Purab Kohli. She has also been roped in for Abhay Chopra’s remake of the 1969 murder mystery “Ittefaq” opposite Sidharth Malhotra.
