Uttaran actress Tinaa Dattaa to play lead role in TV’s version of Chori Chori Chupke Chupke ?

Tinaa Dattaa to make a comeback with Colors

Remember Ichcha from Uttaran? Yes the docile and delicate actress, Tinaa Dattaa might soon be back on TV. If reports are to be believed then she will yet again associate with Colors, with whom she rose to fame. The channel, which has made great shows on social causes like child marriage (Ballika Vadhu), Transphobia (Shakti-Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki),etc, is now gearing up to make a new show on the sensitive issue of surrogacy.

To be produced by Shashi Sumeet Productions, the show is being said to be a remake of the Salman Khan, Preity Zinta and Rani Mukherjee’s famous movie Chori Chori Chupke Chupke helmed by Abbas Mustan. While Ballika Vadhu fame Siddharth Shukla will make a comeback as the male lead of the show, Tinaa is said to play the female protagonist that is Rani Mukherjee’s part. Also  Jasmin Bhasim, who would soon be wrapping up shoot of Tashan-E-Ishq, has bagged the role of the second female lead. She will most likely reprise Preity Zinta’s role.
While Tinaa’s role is not confirmed yet, buzz is strong that she is being considered for the role of Rani Mukherjee. The other two faces to be in talks for the same role happens to be Kritika Kamra and Sanjeeda Sheikh. But, we hear that the role will most likely go to Tina has she does not have a set image in the industry. Also she perfectly fits the image of an adarsh wife longing to have a kid.
While we are already excited to hear about her comeback news, we must tell you that no confirmation has come from the actress’s side yet! But, we have our fingers crossed.
A few days ago, we had also heard another movie’s name that is going to be remade into a TV serial. We had reported that Drashti Dhami is doing a show named Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil, which is an adaptation of Subhash Ghai’s hit film Pardes. The movie starred Shah Rukh Khan, Mahima Choudhary and Apurva Agnihotri.
