Shivaay song Aag Bahe Teri Rag Me: First track from Ajay Devgn’s film to release on September 11

The song has been crooned by Mohit Chauhan.

You’d be lying if you say you watched Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay trailer just once. The marvellous action packed trailer is worthy of watching on loop. The never seen before stunts have made us super excited about the film. Now, we have also been eagerly waiting for the first song from the film to be released. Now to make our wait easier, there is now a release date. The first track from the film titled Aag Bhare Tere Rag Me will be released on September 11. Whoa! Take a minute to mark the date in the calendar. We are sure the track would be just as entertaining as the film’s trailer.

Shivaay’s  music has been composed by Mithoon, super famous for Aashiqui 2. Aag Bahe Tere Rag me has been crooned by Mohit Chauhan, known for Pee Loon from Once Upon a Time in Mumbai and Matargashti  from Tamasha.
The song will be launched all across the digital platforms.
Also, Badshah, who has rapped verses for songs like Selfie le le re from Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Baby ko bass pasand hai from Sultan, has said he will be heard rapping some lines for Shivaay, “I have done a song for ‘Shivaay’ with (composer) Mithoon, but it is in a very different zone. It is very unlike me. It is about Shiva, and has some lines on him,” Badshah, told a news portal while performing at the Gardens Galleria here on August 8.
Recently Shivaay saw itself get embroiled into a BIG controversy. Ajay, who not only has acted in the film but has also directed it, took to Twitter to share a link of an audio clip that disclosed something shocking about filmmaker Karan Johar. The audio clip is that of a phone conversation between producer Kumar Mangat and infamous movie critic and notorious Twitterati Kamaal R Khan. KRK, in the audio clip, admits to being paid by KJO for badmouthing Shivaay. Now, you should know that Karan is releasing Ae Dil Hai Mushkil on the same day as Shivaay. So some serious contest was definitely on its way, but this seemed like a very low blow. Though, later KRK backed out from his statement, it is still unclear if he was lying or not. Karan has stayed mum on the topic by just expressing that commenting on the controversy is against his ‘self-respect’.

Talking about Shivaay, at the trailer launch, Ajay said “It is a family film. The action is a backdrop, but basically it is an emotional drama where a man is pushed to destroy everything possible because somebody is trying to destroy him. We had actually read an article which had happened in real life and we were moved by it, and the film has been made on that thought process. We didn’t follow it, but it was an inspiration”
