SS Rajamouli and team are currently busy shooting for Baahubali 2: The conclusion. For the last three months, the team has been shooting the climax sequence at Ramoji film city. No film has ever spent so much time on a certain sequence,but that’s Rajamouli’s detailed work of art for you. Now, there were reports that Rana Daggubati has completed shooting for Baahubali sequel. but turns out, the reports are not true. Producer
Shobu Yarlagadda took to twitter to clarify. Here’s what he said: Not yet .. ! We have a little bit more work ! We like @RanaDaggubati too much to let him go so soon ! So, here’s the real truth. Rana Daggubati still has some Baahubali work to wrap up. He plays the menacing, ruthless Bhallala deva, who reportedly will take on a more fierce avatar in the sequel. Looks like, his journey with the Baahubali team is not ending soon. In other news, Rana Daggubati is collaborating with Teja for his project. The movie also stars Kajal Aggarwal and Catherine Tresa.The movie will reportedly go on floors next month. So, will Rana Daggubati complete his shoot for Baahubali by then? We will know soon enough!
Talking about Baahubali 2, it was Rana Daggubati who had revealed that the trailer will be out in January 2017. If you thought Baahubali was big, expect the sequel to be grander. There will be a whole new kingdom in Baahubali’s sequel. Renowned Sabu Cyril is going all out for this second part. And this time, the team is more excited than nervous. Apart from expecting to be a visual treat, fans are also eagerly awaiting the sequel for another reason. They will finally have the answer to why Katappa Killed Baahubali? Reportedly, only Baahubali director, Prabhas and the writer know the answer tot his question. The movie also stars Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia among others. The movie ahead of its release, is already rake in the monies. There are talks, the movie’s pre-release business collection has already totalled to Rs 350 crores. The movie is all set to release on April 28 th 2016.

Apart from Baahubali, Rana has Ghazi coming up as well. It’s a submarine based war film and it will be the first of its kind.  The film is based on the true incidents of the mysterious sinking of a Pakistani submarine in 1971 Indo-Pak war. Taapsee Pannu plays the female lead. The movie also has Madai Thiranthu. coming up where he plays Subhash Chandra Bose. The movie is set in the pre-independence era. He will star opposite Regina Cassandra in this period film.
