Shah Rukh Khan is looking like a dynamite in Raees, says Rakesh Roshan
Listen up Shah Rukh Khan, this is what Rakesh Roshan felt after watching you in Raees' trailer.
Kaabil and Raees are clashing at the box office next week. Yes, that’s true and now there won’t be any changes at all. Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan
will clash at the box office. So you would expect the people involve to
be cross with each other for making it happen, after all Kaabil had
booked the January 25 date first. But given the fact that Shah Rukh,
Rakesh and Hrithik Roshan go back a long way, there is no ill feelings
between the them. In fact, when we asked Roshan sr. if he had watched
the trailer of Raees, he had only good things to say about it.
Rakesh Roshan said, “Yes I have. I watch everything. It was very very impressive. And Shah Rukh Khan is looking dynamite in the film.” Clearly, there is no bad blood between them despite their films clashing. But obviously, he isn’t elated about it either because it affects both the films. Actually it is not right. Because if you see Hollywood also, the way they strategise, no two big films release together if you go back 10 years and see. You will never see Superman and Batman releasing together. And we have only 4-5 actors over here who are ruling the industry. There are so many weeks in the entire year, so why clash? By clashing you are eating into each other’s business,” said the filmmaker. We totally agree with him. It also affects the industry which is already cash-strapped.
While EXCLUSIVELY talking to us, Rakesh Roshan also predicted how much both the films might earn. “I am happy about one thing. We both together will do Rs. 300 crore. Aamir and Salman’s single films have earned Rs. 300 crore. Here two films together will earn Rs. 300 crore. But then both the films have the potential to individually earn Rs. 300 crore if they were not clashing with each other,” explains Roshan.
We will have to wait till January 25 to see what fate has decided for both the films.
