After Baaghi became a hit, a repeat of Tiger Shroff‘s insane stunts was much in the news. He was unbelievable in the action scenes which are the prime reasons behind the film’s success. So a sequel was definitely on the cards. And now we hear it will have Tony Ching designing the action sequences. And guess what? He is the same guy who worked in Tiger’s idol Hrithik Roshan’s Krrish 3. We don’t know if this is mere coincidence but they definitely have some connection.
Those who aren’t aware, Ching has designed the action sequences for Shaolin Soccer and Hero. Krrish 3 too was his film. Now Tiger will get trained under this world renowned action choreographer in Beijing, China. Recently, Tiger and Sajid along with director Ahmed Khan met Tony Ching as the the renowned director joins team Baaghi 2. Sajid says, “Tiger is an extremely dedicated and disciplined boy. He wakes up early everyday and follows his fitness regime rigorously. For someone with such devotion and honesty to his craft, deserves the best of best. Looking forward to this deadly combination”. And Sajid isn’t the only one who is bowled over by Tiger’s dedication. Ching saw the actor at his rehearsals and was left highly impressed by Tiger’s moves. We don’t doubt at all. He is on his way to become the next big action star of Bollywood – a place which has been empty for a while now with everyone moving on to different things.
Baaghi’s action scenes have been simply breathtaking and now with Ching on board, rest assured the sequel will have some amazing stunts too. After all, he did a fab job with Krrish 3 where Hrithik had done some outstanding stunts.
But we are still unsure as to who will play the female lead in the film. Initially, when Sabbir Khan was still part of the sequel, he had hinted at a reunion of the original cast saying, “It’s been a great experience working with Sabbir, Tiger and Shraddha and the Baaghi story needs to be taken ahead. We plan on starting the shoot in Shanghai in 2017. Action and romance are my signature themes and I love working with Sajid bhai since he is an extremely director-friendly producer. He stands in the background like a pillar, letting the director do his job to the best of his ability. The film is still being scripted and casting for a fierce villain is underway. We’ll just have to wait and watch now.” Later DNA reported that Amy Jackson has been signed for the film instead. In fact, Sabbir got replaced by Ahmed Khan as he got busy with Munna Michael
